Social Media Manager

About the role

We are looking for a creative, strategic Social Media Manager to join our marketing agency. The role will involve managing social media accounts for multiple clients across different industries, developing engaging content, and executing digital marketing strategies. You will use data and insights to continuously improve performance and drive results.

Key responsibilities

• Own the brand’s digital presence end‑to‑end, from strategy and planning through execution, optimisation and reporting.
• Develop and implement digital strategies that support marketing and business objectives.
• Identify creative digital opportunities to increase brand awareness, engagement and conversion.
• Lead the development of engaging content, collaborating with designers, videographers, influencers and creators.
• Manage and optimise paid digital campaigns across relevant platforms, ensuring effective budget use.
• Oversee social media publishing, community engagement and day‑to‑day platform management.
• Prepare regular performance reports and provide clear recommendations for future activity.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing or a related field.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating original social media content and creative ideas.
• Excellent understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other relevant platforms.
• Strong copywriting and storytelling skills.
• Experience creating or directing short‑form video content is an advantage.
• Deep understanding of Kenyan culture, humour and social conversations.
• Ability to work quickly, independently and manage multiple content ideas simultaneously.
