Solids Control Supervisor

About the role

The Solids Control Supervisor will lead field service activities to ensure on‑time delivery, contract compliance and cash collection for Baker Hughes projects in Kenya. The role involves coordinating resources, applying HSE standards and acting as the primary client contact throughout job preparation, execution and close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch field resources according to job requirements.
• Apply Health, Safety and Environment procedures to maintain compliance.
• Coordinate and monitor all job activities to ensure successful completion.
• Manage internal and external customer forecasts for field service activities.
• Plan and allocate resources, ensuring the right competence and utilization.
• Oversee bookings, timesheets and service tickets.
• Provide technical guidance to resolve complex problems and lead business reviews.
• Escalate issues that could impact service delivery and ensure invoicing aligns with contracts.

Required profile

• 5+ years total oilfield experience.
• At least 3 years supervising waste‑management operations.
• Minimum 5 years experience in waste management on offshore installations.
• Proven leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with deep‑water waste‑management operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of solids control and waste‑management equipment such as dryers, centrifuges, vacuums, screw conveyors and pumps.
