Stock Controller Clerk – Warehouse Inventory Management

About the role

Our client in the FMCG sector is looking for a detail‑oriented Stock Controller Clerk to manage inventory transactions and maintain accurate stock records within a busy warehouse environment. The role involves close coordination with purchasing and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment and optimal stock levels.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, label, and store incoming products while updating inventory logs and database entries.
• Conduct routine stock counts, reconcile discrepancies and report any variances.
• Use the ERP system to record and monitor stock movements, charging and tracking items as they move through the warehouse.
• Monitor stock levels, flag shortages or surpluses, and ensure standard stock availability.
• Coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams for timely replenishment.
• Maintain organized storage areas for easy product retrieval and follow safety procedures during handling.
• Generate inventory reports as requested by management.

Required profile

• BA in Supply and Management, Information Technology or a related field.
• Computer‑savvy with prior experience in inventory, warehouse, or logistics roles preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft tools and good report preparation skills.
