Stock Controller / ERP System Assistant (Inventory)

About the role

Connect Coffee is looking for a detail-oriented Stock Controller / ERP System Assistant for its Karen branch. The role covers inventory control, accurate stock and ERP records, regular stock counts and loss prevention. The salary is KES 50,000 per month.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels and maintain minimum and maximum quantities, implement FIFO/FEFO and prevent shortages and overstocking.
• Verify goods received against delivery notes and purchase orders, record them accurately and authorise stock issuance to departments or branches.
• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly stock takes, investigate variances, reconcile physical stock with system records and prepare weekly and monthly stock reports, including variance, shrinkage and inventory valuation reports.
• Capture goods received, issues, transfers and adjustments in the ERP system, maintain item master data, units of measure and stock codes, run and reconcile ERP stock reports, and support staff using the inventory module.
• Monitor damages, expiries and wastage, ensure proper storage standards and keep audit-ready documentation.
• Work closely with the Storekeeper, Procurement, Accounts and branch teams.

Required profile

• Diploma in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Accounting or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in stock control or inventory management, preferably in a restaurant, hospitality or FMCG environment.
• Accounting experience, including inventory valuation and stock reconciliations.
• Honest, detail-oriented and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with an ERP or inventory management system.
• Strong numerical, reconciliation and record-keeping skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
