Storekeeper for IRS Operations

About the role

Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, the Storekeeper will manage indoor residual spraying (IRS) commodities across multiple sites in Busia and Siaya counties. The role involves receiving, verifying, storing, labeling and tracking IRS items to ensure uninterrupted malaria vector control and HIV/AIDS service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Receive IRS commodities from the central warehouse, verify quantities and complete stock management documentation.
• Monitor stock levels, place replenishment orders using the digital requisition system, and conduct regular stock takes/audits.
• Maintain accurate records of receipts, withdrawals and inventory movements for all IRS related items.
• Enforce safety procedures for handling insecticides and contaminated materials, and ensure the store is secure against theft or unauthorized access.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business Management, IT/Computer Science, Purchasing & Supply Chain or Warehouse Management.
• 3 to 6 months of relevant experience.
• Ability to work onsite in designated sub‑county operation sites.

Required skills

• Inventory management and stock tracking.
• Use of digital requisition and stock audit tools.
• Knowledge of safety protocols for insecticide storage.
