Strategy & Operations Lead - Africa

About the role

Binance is seeking a senior leader to drive country and regional project management across Africa, coordinate cross‑market initiatives, and provide strategic insights to shape the continent’s competitive landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Drive country and regional project management across Africa, establishing cadence, accountability, and delivery against priorities.
• Lead cross‑cutting initiatives such as regulatory engagement, banking channel development, and licensing, coordinating with country, regional, and global teams.
• Coordinate special projects and task forces assigned by Africa leadership, building plans, driving work, and delivering results.
• Develop deep understanding of the African competitive landscape and translate intel into actionable recommendations.
• Partner with Analytics, Finance, and Country teams to define, track, and report on OKRs, surfacing risks and opportunities.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with country GMs, global function leads, regulators, and external partners.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of progressive experience in startup operations, fintech, or financial institutions; crypto experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently, solving ambiguous problems without heavy supervision.
• Track record of managing complex projects across multiple geographies and stakeholders.
• Experience working with external partners and regulators is a significant plus.
• Strong analytical skills, comfortable with data, OKRs, and translating numbers into narrative.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with credibility across leadership levels.
