Sub-County Finance Assistants

About the role

The Sub-County Finance Assistants will support the Project Finance Team by collecting financial information from sub‑county operation sites and processing payments for spraying staff, ensuring compliance with accounting procedures and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Support vendor payment and temporary staff payroll documentation.
• Prepare temporary staff payroll for review and approval.
• Compile staff data to facilitate contract preparation.
• Review and reconcile payroll data against actual payments, correcting discrepancies.
• Update staff and vendors on payment plans and respond to financial queries.
• Represent finance at weekly performance meetings in sub‑counties.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and provide high‑level customer service.

Required profile

• Professional training in accounting/finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in accounting and administration.
• Ability to work six days a week (Monday‑Saturday).
• Proficiency in English and Kiswahili.
• Strong numeracy, organizational skills and attention to accuracy.
• Residence within the county of jurisdiction.
