Systems Lead

About the role

Victory Farms is seeking a Systems Lead to own and evolve its ERPNext/Frappe platform across multiple business entities. The role will ensure platform reliability, correct business workflows, and seamless integration with external services supporting the company’s agriculture and fishing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Own the architecture of the ERPNext estate, including custom doctypes, server/client scripts, workflows, and valuation logic for fish SKUs.
• Maintain system uptime, monitor background jobs, and manage runbooks for incident response.
• Perform controlled remediation using System Console scripts and data‑fixes with proper change‑control and rollback procedures.
• Manage releases, patches, upgrades, user roles, permissions, and data‑security measures in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act.
• Integrate ERPNext with external APIs such as M‑Pay (M‑Pesa/Daraja) and Microsoft 365/Power Automate.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to capture upstream data and support manufacturing, distribution, and multi‑entity processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of ERPNext/Frappe development experience, including leadership or senior responsibilities.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.
• Strong problem‑solving, project‑management, and communication skills.
