Technical Account Manager – Payments & Partner Integrations

About the role

The Technical Account Manager – Payments & Partner Integrations drives adoption and growth of M-Pesa Africa’s payment capabilities. You will act as the technical and commercial authority for payment integrations, ensuring solutions are scalable, partner‑ready and commercially viable across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify integration opportunities and design payment solutions that align with product strategy.
• Lead end‑to‑end technical integration, certification, launch and ongoing optimisation of partner solutions.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Commercial and Operations teams to define integration standards and influence roadmap.
• Serve as trusted advisor to strategic partners, translating their requirements into scalable payment products.
• Monitor performance of integrated solutions to ensure operational excellence and commercial success.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex payment integrations or similar technical account roles.
• Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, APIs and partner management.
• Ability to work across cross‑functional teams and influence product strategy.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and commercial stakeholders.
