Technical Assistance Performance Management

About the role

The Technical Assistance (TA) Performance Management role provides day‑to‑day technical oversight and coordination for performance management across three sub‑counties. It embeds Living Goods’ TA model within county health systems, strengthening data quality, accountability and supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Support adoption of supervision and performance‑management frameworks aligned with government structures.
• Coordinate development, tracking and review of Improvement Operational Plans (IOPs) to address performance gaps.
• Lead data‑quality activities across e‑CHIS, DHIS2 and AfyaBI, including regular DQAs and workflow refinements.
• Analyze county and sub‑county performance data to inform adaptive management and decision‑making.
• Provide capacity‑building, coaching and mentorship to CHMT, SCHMT and CHA teams on data‑driven performance management.
• Represent Living Goods in county‑level technical forums and manage stakeholder coordination.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in community health, health systems strengthening or public health.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in health program performance management.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, relationship‑management and diplomatic skills.
• Ability to navigate cultural and political contexts and drive change management.

Required skills

• Experience with e‑CHIS, DHIS2 and AfyaBI data systems.
• Proficiency in data quality assessment, validation and reporting.
• Capacity‑building and technical coaching in health‑system performance.
