Technical Product & Solutions Lead

About the role

SALIX Data, a global provider of business process outsourcing, forensic collection, e-discovery processing, cybersecurity and workflow automation services founded in 1999, is seeking a Technical Product & Solutions Lead in Nairobi. The role bridges business strategy and technical execution, leading technology assessments, solution design, product delivery planning and cross-functional team coordination while helping clients scale complex enterprise applications.

Key responsibilities

• Assess existing enterprise applications and product ecosystems, including architecture, scalability, performance, security and maintainability, and identify risks, bottlenecks and modernization opportunities
• Develop practical roadmaps aligned to business objectives and lead large-scale software enhancement and expansion initiatives
• Translate business requirements into technical workstreams and define delivery priorities, milestones, dependencies and success measures
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA teams and business analysts, review solution designs and support architectural decisions
• Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders and executives, facilitate discovery workshops and present recommendations and progress updates
• Identify opportunities to use AI, intelligent automation, analytics and process optimization, and support digital transformation initiatives

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in software delivery, solution architecture, product management or technology consulting
• Experience leading enterprise software implementations or modernization initiatives
• Proven experience working directly with executive stakeholders and business leaders
• Experience managing distributed or cross-functional technical teams
• Preferred: experience in insurance, financial services, FinTech or InsurTech, and a background as Technical Lead, Solutions Architect, Head of Technology, Technical Product Manager or CTO-level advisor
