Technical Sales Engineer - Dairy Equipment

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Technical Sales Engineer in Mombasa Road, Kenya, focused on dairy equipment and related technical solutions. The role covers business development, customer visits, quotations and closing, with a stated salary of KShs 100,000.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and build a pipeline of prospective customers, achieving agreed sales targets.
• Visit customers and sites, assess their needs and recommend suitable equipment and technical solutions.
• Prepare and present accurate technical quotations and proposals, follow up on them and adjust them to support conversion.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and technical specifications within approved company guidelines and close deals.
• Build long-term relationships with dairy farmers, processors and businesses, provide ongoing technical support and gather customer feedback.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Dairy Technology or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in technical sales, engineering sales or business development.
• Strong understanding of dairy production processes and equipment.
• Experience conducting customer visits, site assessments and technical consultations.
• Ability to convert leads into sales and achieve targets.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits and site assessments.
