Technical Specialist Associate

About the role

H.B. Fuller is looking for an Associate Technical Specialist to support customer applications, technical service activities, and market development across East Africa. This development‑focused position will build expertise in adhesives, application equipment, substrates, and manufacturing processes while working closely with sales, marketing, R&D, and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Support customer application trials, product demonstrations, and troubleshooting activities.
• Assist customers with product selection, application methods, and equipment‑related questions.
• Analyze performance data and prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Conduct customer training sessions on products, applications, and equipment usage.
• Collaborate with sales teams to support key accounts and business opportunities.
• Participate in market research, industry events, and identification of emerging trends.
• Support new product launches and provide feedback to Marketing and R&D teams.

Required profile

• High school diploma with 4+ years relevant technical experience, or Associate/Technical degree, or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, or industrial applications.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to learn technical concepts and work effectively in a team environment.
• Authorization to work in Kenya and willingness to travel as required.

Required skills
