Telecom Infrastructure Estimator (CAD Designer)

About the role

We are looking for a Telecom Infrastructure Estimator who will support the planning and execution of telecommunications construction projects. The role focuses on developing accurate cost estimates and competitive proposals for fiber optic and outside‑plant (OSP) deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze telecom project documentation, including construction drawings, fiber network designs and technical specifications.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates covering labor, materials (fiber, cabling, infrastructure components), equipment, tools and subcontractor services.
• Develop and submit competitive bid proposals.
• Evaluate project scope, timelines and resource requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and project teams to ensure estimates align with cost‑efficiency and profitability goals.

Required profile

• Experience in telecommunications infrastructure or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of fiber optic networks and OSP environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and network designs.
• Experience in cost estimation, budgeting and project analysis.
• Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Detail‑oriented, highly analytical and strong communicator.
