Trade Marketing Intern – Somalia & Rwanda

About the role

The Trade Marketing Intern will support the Trade Marketing & Distribution team across Somalia and Rwanda, gaining practical experience in trade marketing while handling coordination, reporting, documentation and market follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate trade marketing trackers, activity calendars, action logs and performance reports.
• Support preparation of weekly and monthly updates by collecting inputs, checking data quality and presenting information.
• Assist coordination of trade marketing activities, including agency brief follow‑ups, approval tracking and purchase order support.
• Prepare meeting notes, action trackers, presentation inputs and briefing packs for internal and external stakeholders.
• Follow up on assigned actions, escalating delays or risks to the line manager.
• Monitor basic market intelligence such as competitor activity and trade feedback.
• Ensure compliance with company processes for trade documents, approvals and activity evidence.
• Contribute to office operating rhythm by keeping files, trackers and follow‑up routines organised.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data handling and reporting.
