About the role
The Kenya College of Interior Design is seeking a Trainer in Film and Cinematography to deliver high‑quality instruction to students in Nairobi. This full‑time position involves designing and delivering curriculum that blends practical film production techniques with industry‑standard software.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and develop training programmes for film and cinematography courses.
- Deliver classroom and practical sessions, ensuring effective knowledge transfer.
- Create and update curriculum, teaching guidelines, and assessment materials.
- Conduct training requirements analysis to align courses with industry standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (teaching qualification such as DTTE/PGDE preferred).
- At least 2 years of teaching experience or 3 years of relevant industry experience.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Archicad.
- Proficiency with SketchUp.
- Proficiency with Premiere Pro.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
