About the role
Support the Underwriting Manager in the Eldoret branch by providing operational assistance and helping evaluate risks according to underwriting guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Attend to customers and intermediaries’ queries.
- Reconcile client accounts and follow up on policy renewals.
- Process policy documents, issue endorsements, motor and marine certificates, and yellow cards.
- Assist in loss ratio reporting and account performance review.
- Provide required documents to the claims department within prescribed TATs.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Commerce (Insurance Option) or related business degree from a reputable university.
- At least one year of experience in a busy underwriting department.
