Utility Car Driver

About the role

The Utility Car Driver supports Oildrop Africa Limited’s fleet operations by transporting staff, documents and small parts quickly and safely across busy port and terminal areas in Mombasa and Nairobi.

Key responsibilities

• Drive staff, terminal crews and visitors between offices, customs checkpoints and vessel berths.
• Deliver time‑sensitive shipping documents, port clearance paperwork and spare parts to operational hubs.
• Perform daily pre‑trip vehicle inspections and keep the vehicle clean, fueled and road‑worthy.
• Record all trips, fuel usage, mileage and passenger details accurately in the logbook.
• Assist field teams with loading and unloading light cargo during off‑site errands.

Required profile

• KCSE certificate.
• 3–5 years of continuous experience as a corporate, commercial or utility driver.
• Valid NTSA Category B3 (Professional) or Category B, C, E licence with a clean record and active smart DL status.
• Certificate of Good Conduct.
• Defensive driving certification (e.g., AA Kenya) is highly valued.
• Familiarity with Kenya Ports Authority installations and customs gates is an advantage.
