About the role
The position involves providing high‑quality service to guests at Java House locations in Westlands, Nairobi. You will be responsible for taking orders, handling payments, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
Key responsibilities
- Present menu options, suggestive sell, and inform guests of daily specials.
- Take orders accurately and deliver them to tables.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns promptly.
- Handle POS transactions, maintain cash float, and present bills.
- Manage inventory orders, receive supplies, and process aggregator orders.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene standards, and perform closing duties.
Required profile
- Ability to work under pressure and long hours.
- Team player with strong customer‑orientation.
- Result‑oriented, self‑driven, articulate and proactive.
- Flexible and accommodative with good planning skills.
Required skills
- Point of Sale (POS) operation.
