Waitstaff (Full‑time) – Nakuru, Kenya

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic waitstaff to join our team at Java House Africa Ltd in Nakuru. As a front‑of‑house team member you will ensure guests enjoy a seamless dining experience while promoting our menu offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Present menu options, suggest items based on guest preferences and upsell daily specials.
• Take orders accurately, input them into the POS system and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal and address any concerns in coordination with the manager.
• Handle cash, maintain shift float, process payments and present bills on time.
• Manage counter operations including machine care, order entry, and coordination with suppliers and delivery platforms.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, counters and overall restaurant area, adhering to hygiene standards.
• Report any maintenance, IT or facilities issues to the Area Manager and complete end‑of‑shift closing duties.

• Ability to work under pressure and for long hours.
• Strong customer‑orientation and team‑player mindset.
• Good planning, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Result‑oriented, self‑driven, articulate and proactive attitude.
