About the role

The Wellbeing Leader (Leader Band B‑2) will join Blakeview Primary School’s leadership team to champion student wellbeing across the campus. This full‑time position runs from July to December 2026 and offers flexible working arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement wellbeing programmes that address social disadvantage and trauma‑related learning barriers.
• Provide direct support and guidance to students experiencing emotional or behavioural challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, counsellors and external partners to embed trauma‑informed practices school‑wide.
• Monitor wellbeing outcomes, produce reports and advise senior leadership on strategic improvements.
• Lead professional development sessions for staff on wellbeing and resilience.

Required profile

• Demonstrated understanding of social disadvantage and the impact of trauma on student learning.
• Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions in a dynamic school environment.
• Experience in a leadership role within an educational setting.
• Commitment to inclusive, student‑centred practices.
