Workshop and Inventory Lead

About the role

M-Enginuity Tech & Trading Ltd is seeking a highly organized and technically competent Workshop & Inventory Lead to manage daily workshop operations, production planning, and inventory control across its machining and fabrication divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise daily production activities in both machining and steel‑fabrication workshops.
• Coordinate workflow between the Machining Workshop and Fabrication Workshop to meet quality, delivery and safety targets.
• Monitor machine utilization, productivity, downtime and enforce workplace safety and housekeeping.
• Allocate machining jobs on conventional lathe and milling machines, ensuring dimensional accuracy and tool maintenance.
• Oversee fabrication of gates, doors and windows from approved drawings, managing material preparation, welding, grinding and finishing.
• Maintain accurate stock records, conduct regular counts, set minimum/maximum levels and prevent losses.
• Prepare weekly production schedules, track work orders and report on KPIs such as output, inventory accuracy and material wastage.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience supervising workshop or production environments.
• Experience managing both machining and steel‑fabrication operations.
• Strong understanding of inventory and stores management.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
