About the role
The Administrative and Logistics Technical Assistant supports the smooth operation of the office and logistics functions at the Dadaab site, ensuring compliance with NRC policies, donor requirements, and local regulations. The role combines office administration, facilities management, and procurement support.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure the office complies with all legal requirements, taxes, registrations and licences.
- Maintain office cleanliness, manage tenancy agreements and coordinate travel arrangements for staff and visitors.
- Provide reception services, monitor stock of supplies, and oversee utility and guest‑house payments.
- Manage office inventory, equipment, furniture and ensure proper maintenance.
- Promote awareness of NRC policies and provide guidance to staff.
- Ensure procurement processes follow the logistics handbook and donor rules, prepare RFQs, obtain quotations and conduct bid analysis.
- Draft supplier contracts, receive invoices and forward them to finance.
- Maintain contract management records and liaise with suppliers for timely delivery.
- Organise transport of materials, keep accurate stock and asset reports, and maintain a filing system for procurement documents.
Required profile
- Adherence to NRC policies, handbooks, guidelines and donor requirements.
- Ability to manage office administration, facilities and procurement tasks efficiently.
