About the role
Khalsa Schools is seeking a dynamic Art & Design and Geography teacher for its International School offering the Pearson Edexcel curriculum. The successful candidate will create engaging, creative lessons and prepare students for IGCSE examinations.
Key responsibilities
- Teach Art & Design and Geography to IGCSE students.
- Develop innovative, student‑centred learning experiences.
- Organise exhibitions and showcase student artwork.
- Prepare learners for coursework and examinations.
- Monitor, assess and report on learner progress.
- Integrate ICT tools and modern teaching methods.
- Maintain classroom resources and learning materials.
- Participate in school activities, professional development and collaborative planning.
Required profile
- Degree or Diploma in Education.
- Minimum three years of teaching experience, preferably with the IGCSE Cambridge/Pearson Edexcel curriculum.
- Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) in Kenya.
- Clean child protection record.
- Strong curriculum and classroom‑management knowledge.
Required skills
- ICT proficiency.
