Associate Product Specialist – Switching & Cards

About the role
The Associate Product Specialist will lead project delivery for card issuing and payment switching solutions across India and Malaysia. You will work closely with stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to design, implement, and launch secure payment products.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage end‑to‑end project plans, define scope, and monitor progress from inception to closure.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, creating contingency plans as needed.
- Design and deliver solutions for card issuing, transaction acquiring, and ISO‑8583 messaging.
- Coordinate stakeholder, vendor, and financial management activities, including cost estimation and budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with VISA, MasterCard, UPI, national scheme, EMV, PCI‑DSS, PA‑DSS, and other industry standards.
- Integrate APIs (SOAP, JSON, REST), web services, back‑office systems, and HSM encryption modules.
- Lead testing activities using automated tools and simulators, and support emerging payment methods such as Google Pay, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, QR‑code payments, and tokenization.
Required profile
- Experience in banking or financial‑services projects, especially payments and card processing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Proactive problem‑solver with excellent time‑management and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with cloud and digital‑transformation initiatives; knowledge of open‑banking concepts is a plus.
