Brand Specialist

About the role

The Brand Specialist will develop, manage and amplify Liugong Machinery’s brand identity across all channels in Kenya and the wider East African market. Based in Nairobi, the role blends strategy, creativity and execution to ensure the brand remains consistent, relevant and competitive.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across internal and external communications.
• Plan and execute brand and marketing campaigns across digital, print and outdoor channels.
• Create and manage marketing collateral such as posters, flyers, banners, social content and promotional materials.
• Manage social media platforms, keeping content fresh, on‑brand and engaging.
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify positioning opportunities within Kenya and the broader EAC market.
• Support product launches, events and activations with creative direction and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with sales and commercial teams to ensure brand alignment in go‑to‑market activities.
• Manage agencies, designers and vendors to deliver quality work on time and on budget.
• Report on brand performance metrics and present insights to leadership.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in a brand, marketing or creative role covering both strategy and execution.
• Strong copywriting ability and a good eye for design.
• Solid understanding of the Kenyan and EAC consumer market.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proficiency with Canva or similar design tools.
