About the role
The Business Relationship Officer will drive the marketing, promotion and sale of credit solutions to micro‑business customers in Nairobi. You will be responsible for building a high‑quality loan portfolio while ensuring strong customer retention and risk management.
Key responsibilities
- Market, promote and sell credit products to micro‑businesses.
- Recruit new customers and conduct thorough loan appraisals.
- Follow up on loan repayments and maintain a high‑quality loan book.
- Manage portfolio risk, ensuring good quality and high retention rates.
- Prepare and submit monthly performance reports.
Required profile
- Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Banking, Co‑operative Management, Entrepreneurship or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in micro‑business or logbook lending.
- Proven experience in sales, marketing and portfolio management.
- Computer literate and able to work effectively in a team.
- High degree of integrity, confidentiality and excellent communication skills.
