About the role
Jumuia Hospitals Ltd is seeking a senior finance leader to steer the financial strategy of its Nairobi campus. The Chief Financial Officer will partner with senior management and the Board to ensure the hospital’s financial health, sustainability, and growth.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial leadership, advising the Board and senior management on performance and sustainability.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Analyse profitability of services, determine true costs, and recommend pricing, expansion, or discontinuation decisions.
- Drive revenue growth initiatives, eliminate leakage, and improve billing accuracy across all service lines.
- Conduct market and pricing analyses, benchmark charges, and evaluate insurance and corporate contracts.
- Strengthen claim management, reduce rejections, and optimise the SmartCare billing cycle.
- Improve cash‑flow, monitor debt collection, and maintain healthy cash reserves.
- Oversee procurement controls, promote value for money, and support inventory management.
- Enhance internal financial controls, risk management, and compliance with regulatory standards.
