Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the role

Bidco Africa Ltd. is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Chief Financial Officer to lead its financial strategy and performance in Thika. The CFO will act as the enterprise’s economic architect, ensuring that the company’s strategy creates adequate value for capital, resources, and risk.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement financial strategy, policy and capital allocation.
• Oversee funding, liquidity, treasury, cash flow and working‑capital management.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
• Ensure accurate, timely preparation of financial statements and performance insight.
• Maintain accounting, tax and statutory compliance and strengthen internal controls.
• Conduct investment appraisal, economic modeling and scenario analysis.
• Manage balance‑sheet strength, financial risk, insurance and investor/lender relationships.
• Promote a Kaizen mindset and apply Lean Six Sigma principles to finance processes.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to align financial decisions with clear assumptions, quantified economics and defined risks.
• Experience in driving value‑creation decisions and protecting enterprise assets.
• Strong analytical mindset focused on what happened, why it happened, what will happen and what decisions can change outcomes.
