C&I Sales Lead – DRC (Energy Solutions)

About the role

We are looking for a C&I Sales Lead to drive the growth of our solar inverter and battery solutions across the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Based in Nairobi, you will build high‑value relationships with EPCs, installers, mines and large energy consumers, turning opportunities into qualified projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, engage and develop long‑term partnerships with leading solar EPCs, installers, engineering firms and project developers in the DRC and surrounding markets.
• Generate qualified C&I and energy‑storage opportunities by building direct relationships with mines, industrial companies and other large energy users.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, site visits, conferences, exhibitions and partner events, travelling as required.
• Collaborate with internal technical and commercial teams to position the appropriate inverter and battery solutions for each opportunity.
• Maintain accurate records of target accounts, contacts, opportunities, project stages and forecasts; provide regular market and sales reports.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, procurement regulations and emerging projects across the region.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial sales within the solar or energy‑storage sector.
• Strong network or ability to develop relationships with EPCs, installers, mines and large energy consumers.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a willingness to travel frequently.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with internal technical and commercial teams.
