Claims Officer – Healthcare Claims Management

About the role
Equity Afia is a network of franchised medical outpatient centres delivering affordable, high-quality healthcare across Kenya. The Claims Officer will support the processing and management of patient claims, ensuring accurate and timely interaction with insurance payers.
Key responsibilities
Required profile
- Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related field.
- Accounting qualification such as CPA Part II or ACCA.
- Minimum one (1) year experience in claims management within the healthcare sector.
- Experience working with insurance payers.
- Proficient computer skills for data entry, analysis and report generation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for collaboration with medical teams and patients.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
