Clerk of Works – Interior Fit‑Out (Contract)

About the role

The Clerk of Works will lead the delivery of interior fit‑out works for a residential house project in Tatu City. Reporting to the Quantity Survey Manager, the role combines hands‑on site coordination, technical problem‑solving and quality assurance to ensure high‑standard, on‑time completion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day interior fit‑out activities, coordinating trades such as partitions, ceilings, joinery, tiling, flooring and MEP interfaces.
• Provide technical direction to contractors, ensuring compliance with programme, quality expectations and design intent.
• Resolve design and construction issues on site, producing sketches, clarifications or technical notes as required.
• Manage procurement, delivery and storage of interior materials, samples and mock‑ups, and maintain a finishes register.
• Prepare and execute quality checklists, progressive inspections, snag lists and final hand‑over documentation.
• Maintain daily site logs, progress reports, RFIs and client communications, supporting homeowner walkthroughs and close‑out activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or undergraduate degree in building studies, construction, surveying or engineering.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience delivering high‑quality interior finishing works.
• Proven experience on commercial and/or residential interior fit‑out projects.
• Strong knowledge of finishing standards, installation processes and MEP interface requirements.
