Construction Equipment Repair Technician – Kenya

About the role

This position is focused on the repair, maintenance, and field service of a wide range of construction heavy equipment in Kenya. The successful candidate will work independently and lead small teams to ensure equipment uptime and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Repair and maintain loaders, rollers, graders, excavators, cranes and similar heavy machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical faults.
• Lead teams for equipment assembly, disassembly and on‑site service.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics accurately.
• Use the company’s maintenance management system for precise record‑keeping.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering Machinery or a related field.
• More than 3 years of experience in construction equipment repairs.
• Hands‑on experience with Yellow Table Top 25 or equivalent core agent systems (e.g., Caterpillar, Komatsu).
• Fluent English for daily communication and documentation.
