Country Growth Lead – Kenya

About the role

JoinBeUs is launching its education platform in Kenya and needs a dynamic Country Growth Lead to spearhead the effort. You will own the partnership strategy, building relationships with study‑abroad consultancies, universities, language schools and primary/secondary institutions that teach French, German or other languages across Nairobi.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach target institutions to secure referral or promotional partnerships.
• Negotiate partnership terms and ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
• Represent JoinBeUs at meetings, workshops and industry events.
• Track partnership performance and report progress directly to the founder.
• Develop and execute a roadmap for scaling partnerships throughout Kenya.

Required profile

• Existing network within education or youth‑focused institutions in Kenya.
• Proven ability to build initiatives from scratch with minimal guidance.
• Strong pitch and negotiation skills with senior decision‑makers.
• Persistent, self‑motivated and comfortable working in a fast‑moving, founding‑stage environment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, partnerships or institutional sales.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to analyse partnership metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
