Digital Health Transformation Consultant – Kenya

About the role

The World Bank Group is seeking a consultant to support digital health transformation initiatives in Kenya. This one‑year assignment will be based in Nairobi and will contribute to the Bank’s goal of achieving universal health coverage across Eastern and Southern Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Assist country teams in designing and implementing digital health strategies that improve service delivery and health outcomes.
• Analyze existing health information systems and recommend technology‑enabled solutions.
• Coordinate with government agencies, development partners, and civil society to align digital health interventions with national priorities.
• Provide technical guidance on data standards, interoperability, and digital health governance.
• Prepare reports, policy briefs, and knowledge products for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in public health, health informatics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in digital health projects, preferably in low‑ and middle‑income country contexts.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with government officials and development partners.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with fluency in English.
