Director of Revenue

About the role

Accor is seeking a Director of Revenue to lead revenue optimisation across its luxury hotel portfolio in Nairobi. The role combines strategic planning, data‑driven pricing and cross‑department collaboration to maximise profit from rooms, food & beverage, spa and other services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term revenue strategies, including pricing, inventory and promotion management.
• Lead the weekly Revenue Management meetings, prepare materials and ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with rooms, restaurant, spa and other profit centres to identify incremental revenue opportunities.
• Produce forecasts, budgets and long‑term financial projections for ownership presentations.
• Monitor market, economic and competitive indicators to adjust tactics and maintain a profit‑focused culture.
• Represent the Fairmont brand in Kenya with professionalism and uphold brand integrity.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Hotel Management, Accounting, Finance or Mathematics (preferred).
• Minimum five years of proven experience in luxury hotel sales or revenue management.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and report‑writing abilities.
• Ability to work independently, lead a team and travel as required.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Ideas G3 RMS.
• Experience using Opera PMS and Opera Sales.
• Familiarity with Passkey and Delphi systems.
