E-Commerce Operations Associate (Nairobi Region)

About the role

The E‑Commerce Operations Associate will lead the fulfillment team in Nairobi, ensuring online orders are processed accurately, efficiently and on time. You will coordinate inventory control, workflow and performance management while upholding quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise team leaders and fulfillment staff to maintain smooth daily e‑commerce operations.
• Oversee end‑to‑end order fulfillment, including picking, packing, labeling and dispatch.
• Monitor productivity against KPIs such as pick rate and on‑time delivery.
• Coordinate workflow between store operations, logistics and customer service to guarantee timely deliveries.
• Enforce compliance with operational procedures, safety standards and quality controls.
• Train, coach and support team members to improve efficiency.
• Prepare operational reports and flag issues like delays, stock variances or system errors.
• Implement QC audits to ensure delivery quantity accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in e‑commerce fulfillment, warehouse operations or retail.
• Proven supervisory or team‑leadership experience in a high‑volume environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, stock control and warehouse processes.
