Education Quality & MEAL Advisor

About the role

World Vision International is seeking an Education Quality & MEAL Advisor to provide technical leadership for quality assurance, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems, and data use within the Education sector. This remote position supports the Child Results Area for Education, oversees digital education quality platforms, and drives evidence generation for program improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the quality assurance and M&E custodian for the Education Child Results Area.
• Develop, implement, and review global education indicators, tools, and reporting processes.
• Ensure education data is complete, accurate, timely, and aligned with organisational standards.
• Oversee operation, capacity building, and day‑to‑day functioning of the Measuring Education Quality Achieved (MEQA) platform.
• Design Power BI dashboards and digital observation tools for MEQA and future M&E solutions.
• Partner with the Digital Solutions team to integrate AI tools where appropriate.
• Provide technical support to users, contribute to system improvements, troubleshooting, documentation and user guidance.
• Collaborate with World Vision M&E, Education and other teams to strengthen evidence building and use.
• Lead development of education annual reports, case studies, knowledge products and periodic reviews of indicator trends and data quality.

Required profile

• Technical leadership experience in education quality assurance and monitoring & evaluation.
• Proven ability to develop and manage global education indicators and reporting processes.
• Experience working with digital education quality platforms and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical mindset for evidence generation and data‑driven decision making.

Required skills

• Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualisation.
• Experience with the Tangerine M&E system.
• Familiarity with the Measuring Education Quality Achieved (MEQA) platform.
• Knowledge of AI tools integration for digital solutions.
• Digital observation tool development.
