About the role

The World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) is seeking qualified consultants to provide expertise in financial governance. This role supports the organization’s mission by enhancing financial oversight and ensuring robust governance practices within a multicultural, non‑profit environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver consultancy services focused on financial governance and related best practices.
• Assist in developing, reviewing, and strengthening financial policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate financial governance into project implementation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by sharing knowledge and evaluating processes.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Proficiency in additional international language(s) is an advantage.
• Experience working in multicultural, multidisciplinary teams, preferably within a non‑profit organization.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to information sharing, cooperative work, and continuous learning.
