French-speaking Tour Consultant (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a French‑speaking Tour Consultant to join Africa Safari Trips remotely. The role involves designing and managing bespoke safari experiences for clients interested in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia and other Southern African destinations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle client inquiries, bookings, itineraries and payments through WhatsApp, email and phone.
• Design personalized safari itineraries tailored to client preferences.
• Prepare invoices and follow up on payments.
• Collect post‑safari feedback, resolve issues and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Communicate itinerary updates and booking changes before and during travel.
• Support sales targets by contributing to weekly and monthly goals.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Tourism or a related field.
• Minimum two years’ experience in the travel industry, preferably in tour consulting or hotel operations.
• Proven experience selling South Africa and other Southern African destinations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
• Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Flexibility to work varied hours when required.
