Gateway Acquiring Officer – Payments Solutions

About the role

The Gateway Acquiring Officer will ensure the successful operation of the organization’s payments solutions and supporting products. The role bridges technology and business, collaborating with stakeholders to introduce new features, maintain system performance, and support merchants across e‑commerce and POS channels.

Key responsibilities

• Lead identification of system errors and bugs, coordinating resolutions with the technical team.
• Review system settings, permissions and monitor DPO Pay system functionality and performance.
• Ensure proper configuration of the DPO Pay system and adherence to PCI DSS procedures.
• Provide Level 3 merchant support, handling escalated issues and serving as the single point of contact for integration queries.
• Support POS and e‑commerce merchant integrations and deliver operational and fraud‑prevention guidance.
• Maintain day‑to‑day inventory records and ensure scheduled activities are logged in the inventory module.
• Produce periodic reports on DPO Pay projects, integration support, and system performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology or a related discipline.
• 5+ years experience in technology solutioning and supporting financial digital products in a multi‑country fintech environment.
• 2+ years experience in customer support/operations for e‑commerce and POS, preferably in a global organization.
• 1+ years experience in process mapping and documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
