General Monitoring Officer – Zonal Manager

About the role

The General Monitoring Officer (Zonal Manager) will oversee loan collections, monitor client accounts and assess credit risk across assigned zones. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will ensure timely repayments and support the company’s portfolio health.

Key responsibilities

• Identify customers due for collection and ensure timely repayments.
• Monitor client accounts, follow up overdue payments via calls and field visits.
• Evaluate financial status of potential and existing clients.
• Conduct risk assessments and prepare detailed reports.
• Track loan portfolio performance and flag potential defaults.
• Negotiate repayment plans with defaulting clients.
• Provide daily and weekly collection/payment schedules to field officers.
• Prepare weekly and monthly portfolio performance reports for management.
• Support credit review meetings with accurate data and insights.
• Reconcile payments with internal teams and ensure correct transaction posting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in portfolio or credit monitoring.
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to conduct field visits for collections and client follow‑ups.
