HR Director – Healthcare

About the role

The HR Director will lead the human resources function for a healthcare organization, ensuring that HR strategy aligns with the hospital’s strategic goals and fostering a high‑performing, engaged workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the organization’s HR strategy in line with hospital objectives.
• Provide strategic HR advice to the executive team on workforce planning, organizational design and people management.
• Lead the creation and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures and best practices.
• Drive initiatives that boost employee engagement, culture and productivity.
• Oversee talent acquisition, workforce planning and employer branding to attract qualified healthcare professionals.
• Design and manage performance management systems and leadership development programs.
• Lead organizational development and change‑management projects to enhance effectiveness.
• Promote positive employee relations, handle grievances, disciplinary matters and champion diversity, equity and inclusion.

Required profile

• Senior‑level HR professional with at least 96 months (8 years) of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in strategic HR leadership within a healthcare or hospital setting.
• Strong background in workforce planning, talent acquisition and succession planning.
• Demonstrated ability to develop HR policies, drive cultural initiatives and manage change.
• Excellent advisory skills for senior executives and a track record of influencing organizational outcomes.
