Investment Analyst Intern – Africa Team (Jan 2027)

About the role

Join Partech Africa’s investment team as an Analyst Intern, supporting the full investment lifecycle across seed to growth stages in the African tech ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing: screen and review investment opportunities, identify potential targets and present findings to the internal team.
• Investment process: manage dealflow, evaluate pitch decks, meet entrepreneurs, assist with in‑depth analysis and due diligence, and draft investment memos.
• Market research: conduct sector and subsector analysis, provide deep‑dive insights, and support the preparation of the Partech Africa report.

Required profile

• Master’s program in business, engineering or equivalent.
• At least one meaningful experience in VC, PE, M&A or consulting.
• Strong analytical and writing skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• High ethical standards, autonomous, curious, structured and data‑driven mindset.
• Team spirit, strong interpersonal skills and passion for tech and entrepreneurship in Africa.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
