About the role
We are looking for a proactive Local Legal Officer / Business Officer to support our operations in Westlands, Kenya. The role bridges legal compliance and business coordination, ensuring smooth interaction with government bodies and internal teams.
Key responsibilities
- Liaise with government authorities to obtain and renew licenses and permits.
- Coordinate inspections and ensure timely compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate compliance records and documentation.
- Handle regulatory queries and external business matters.
- Support internal teams with legal and business process guidance.
Required profile
- Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
- Fluent English with good organizational skills.
- Mid‑level experience (approximately 2 years).
- A legal background is advantageous but not mandatory.
