Management Accountant – Finance Department

About the role

The Finance Department is seeking a Management Accountant to support strategic decision‑making and improve financial performance. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in developing costing systems, budgeting, and delivering insightful management reports.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and implement management accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Monitor business performance and produce variance, trend and other analytical reports for senior management.
• Design, maintain and continuously improve an effective costing system.
• Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Support the budgeting process by coordinating, compiling and monitoring the operations budget.
• Oversee inventory control programs and report any non‑compliance.
• Collaborate with Finance and Sales managers to review product gross margins.
• Provide ad‑hoc analysis to strategic business units and generate required management reports.

Required profile

• Degree in Commerce, Business Management, Administration or a related accounting discipline.
• 2‑3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in financial and management accounting; CPA (K) preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Syspro or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication abilities.
