Market Curation Editor (Sports)

About the role

We are seeking a Market Curation Editor (Sports) to join a fast‑growing social‑predictions platform. Based in Kenya, you will act as the human quality layer that reviews and refines automatically generated sports prediction markets, ensuring they are accurate, clear and ready for users.

Key responsibilities

• Review daily queues of system‑generated sports markets and meet fixed completion deadlines.
• Validate factual accuracy, clarity, completeness and objective adjudication criteria for each market.
• Verify opening and closing times, applying league‑specific settlement conventions such as overtime, shootouts and minimum‑play requirements.
• Rewrite prediction questions and resolution language to be precise and fan‑friendly.
• Document decisions with structured reasons and create timestamped clarifications for live markets.
• Monitor live events, team news and social platforms to identify gaps missed by the automated pipeline.
• Participate in calibration reviews to maintain editorial consistency across the team.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in sports trading, sports data operations, sports journalism or a comparable role requiring current sports expertise.
• Deep, up‑to‑date knowledge of professional and collegiate sports, official rules and settlement conventions.
• Strong editorial judgment and ability to make time‑sensitive decisions during live events.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
