Medical Representative – Healthcare Sales

About the role

We are recruiting on behalf of a client in the healthcare and wellness sector for ambitious, results‑driven Medical Representatives. The role focuses on promoting healthcare products and services, building strong relationships with medical professionals, and driving sales growth across Nairobi and other key regions.

Key responsibilities

• Promote the organization’s healthcare products and services to doctors, clinics, hospitals, pharmacies and corporate clients.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and expand the client base.
• Identify new business opportunities and prepare territory sales plans.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Conduct product presentations and educational sessions for healthcare professionals.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs.
• Prepare sales reports and keep accurate customer records.
• Participate in marketing campaigns, exhibitions and promotional activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Technology, Nursing, Clinical Medicine, Medical Laboratory Science, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical device, diagnostic or healthcare services sales.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship‑management skills.
• Self‑driven, results‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• A valid driving licence is an added advantage.
