Medium Voltage Supervisor – US Navy Program

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Medium Voltage Supervisor to lead electrical teams supporting a critical US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role combines hands‑on technical oversight with leadership of installation, testing, maintenance and repair activities for medium‑voltage systems.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage teams performing installation, testing, maintenance, repair and inspection of medium‑voltage electrical equipment.
• Oversee large‑scale projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, safety requirements and schedule commitments.
• Provide guidance, mentorship and performance feedback to electricians and foremen.
• Review blueprints, wiring diagrams and technical specifications to verify correct execution.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards and organizational best practices.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management and other stakeholders to achieve operational objectives.
• Conduct safety briefings, on‑site inspections and audits.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for maintenance, testing, inspections and team performance.
• Investigate technical issues and recommend solutions.

Required profile

• Completed a three‑year apprenticeship in the electrician trade or a related field.
• Minimum three years experience as a Medium Voltage Foreman.
• Proven ability to supervise medium‑voltage teams and projects.
• Strong knowledge of medium‑voltage systems, installation, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Understanding of safety practices, electrical codes and compliance requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid passport with at least one year remaining and ability to pass contract medical requirements.
