About the role
The International School (Pearson Edexcel) is seeking a dynamic Music and Kiswahili Teacher to join its faculty in Westlands, Nairobi. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that align with the IGCSE curriculum and fostering a love for music and language among learners.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Music and Kiswahili lessons, including assessments and examinations.
- Organise music performances, cultural activities, and co‑curricular events.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Integrate ICT tools into classroom instruction.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Participate in school events and collaborative projects.
Required profile
- Degree or Diploma in Education.
- Minimum three years of teaching experience, preferably with IGCSE (Cambridge/Pearson Edexcel) curricula.
- Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) in Kenya.
- Clean child protection record.
- Strong interpersonal skills for interaction with pupils and colleagues.
